The majority of venues have one thing on their mind when it comes to booking an act: ‘how much money will they make us?’ Having gigged all over the country – in a band with people of widely different ages and cultures, Liverpool doesn’t seem to have the hangups that some places have regarding age etc. If you’ve ventured out to Mello (R.I.P.) or Lomax or the Kazimier there’s a real mix of people. No doubt there are places and nights specifically targeting 18 – 21 but that doesn’t seem to be the massive majority.

I’ve been at both Go Fiasco’s London gigs and they are indeed brilliant live. Above all they are four strong and different personalities all bringing something different to the performance. Ben Murphy’s easy cool on bass, Liam Gardner’s mischievous grin behind the drums, Jamie Roberts a whirling dervish on guitar, and Dan Duggan’s intense brooding stillness at the mic. Go see them if you have the opportunity.

We are here to give our view/opinion on music that is offered to us for review or what we catch at gigs. On this occasion, your online music was passed onto us via our Facebook page for review. We’re not here to pat people on the back and tell them what they want to hear, or what they think an opinion should be – we write what we think. As it happens, the review was positive, I think the 41 Facebook ‘likes’ reflect that. I’m sure via this review a lot more people have heard your sound and have also formed their own opinion on your sound.
