Gengahr’s debut album A Dream Outside turns 10 this June. To celebrate, they’re heading out on tour – bringing their dreamy indie sound to grassroots venues up and down the country. Gig Review – Do Nothing at Future Yard

Tonight, I’m heading to Birkenhead for Do Nothing’s first gig of the year – the Nottingham four-piece are headlining Future Yard’s ‘Onomatoposter’ launch. The exhibition is a collaboration with printmaker/designer extraordinaires Toucan Tango, and gig posters line the walls of the Future Yard gallery space. It’s an unbelievably cool project and definitely worth a visit – the gallery will be open until the end of March. Do Nothing kick off with ‘Happy Feet’ before heading straight into their new single, ‘Summer of Hate’. The band’s latest offering does not disappoint – I’ve had it on repeat since October.
