With a line-up including former members of Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Foreinger, Dio, Mötley Crüe, it’s safe to say you will know what to expect when The Dead Daises bring their Daisyland UK Winter Tour to the Liverpool O2 Academy on the 13th November.
THE DEAD DAISIES are returning to the UK in November to finish off yet another amazing year of shows. The band, comprising of Doug Aldrich, John Corabi, Marco Mendoza, Deen Castronovo and David Lowy are looking forward to rocking out with all their friends that side of the Atlantic.
In a time when elements of the music industry are claiming that ‘Rock is Dead’, The Dead Daisies are leading a charge that’s taking them to the road not only in clubs and concert halls but straight to the very heart of rock music lovers and musician’s communities.
Venues will open their doors one hour early to the first 50 in-line with the band playing an intimate, private “Daisyland” acoustic set after which they’ll mingle, say Hi and sign albums, posters etc. The goal is to rekindle that close connection the way it used to be, when bands would regularly meet some of their audience at music events, giving their time to the people that bought their records and concert tickets, unlike the hundreds of dollars some bands charge in today’s music world for a Meet & Greet.
To that end, The Dead Daisies are taking it to the streets across the UK throughout November and can’t wait to bring the house down on their ‘Daisyland’ UK Winter Tour performing 120-minute sets including an acoustic interlude each and every night, with two different sets lined up for the two London gigs. Fans who buy a special two-night ticket for the London shows will also receive a commemorative exclusive laminate.
“We cannot wait to come back to the UK and rock with you! The pre-show acoustic shows are so much fun and give us a chance to connect with our friends & family more than ever and pull out some deep cuts and favorites in an intimate setting – don’t miss it!!” says guitarist Doug Aldrich.
The Dead Daisies have just released “Can’t Take It With You” as their fourth single off their latest album “Burn It Down” with a lyric video to match! The single once again was added to Planet Rock’s coveted A-Playlist and is featured across many Spotify Playlists and stations across the U.S.
