Liverpool

Now we know how Mary Mary felt when she sang about those shackles. Take the shackles off my feet so I can dance… and eat delicious food… and drink fabulous cocktails. After months of national lockdown, a taste of normality is finally within reach. Our mouths are watering, our stomachs are rumbling, and our dancing shoes are about to get the polishing of their lives.

With the roadmap out of lockdown still going ahead as planned (we’re keeping everything tightly crossed, including our eyes) we could see hospitality start kicking back onto action over the coming weeks. In the meantime, we thought we’d whet your appetite by shining the spotlight on just a few of Liverpool’s most coveted event hire venues for your post-lockdown event, from baby showers and hen dos to music gigs and launch parties.

Jam Restaurant

Proudly proclaiming itself “Liverpool’s No.1” baby shower and hen party venue, Jam Restaurant is the place to be if you’re looking to level-up your garden celebrations this summer and beyond. This fully-licensed, 2,000 sq ft space is a dream come true for those who want to dance the night  (or afternoon) away with delicious food, great music and bespoke drinks packages tailored just for you. Decoration packages are also available so all you have to do is turn up, look glam and get to celebrating. Oh, and let’s not forget that gorgeous flower wall – a stunning backdrop for those Insta-perfect photos.

OH ME OH MY

Whether you’ve a hankering for afternoon tea somewhere cool and contemporary, a drink on the Goodness Gracious roof terrace, or looking for a beautiful, creative space to throw an event, OH ME OH MY is the golden ticket. Located in the heart of Liverpool’s business district, punctuating the concrete quarter with a splash of colour, this venue has proved particularly popular for speaker events, digital conferences, launch parties, networking events, and craft fairs alike. The vibe is laidback but the venue is highbrow.

In West Africa House, on the iconic Water Street, the OH ME OH MY interior clashes original features with trendy decor. We’re particularly fond of the mezzanine seating area, which can host up to 40 guests. Get in touch with OH ME OH MY for more info on bookings.

The Tank Room

Next, let’s take a trip over the Baltic Triangle where you’ll find The Tank Room nestled in amongst the hive of activity that is one of Liverpool’s hottest hospitality hangouts. Neighbouring The Baltic Market, Ghetto Golf and an array of independents bars, breweries and street food spots, The Tank Room is the perfect place to kickoff a night on the tiles, before it spills out into the city (and into the early hours).

Situated in the old Cains Brewery building, the interior is urban and industrial, with ample outdoor seating to compliment the indoor space capable of housing 120 people. With the roof 40 ft high, we doubt you’ll be doing much dancing on the ceiling but you’ll certainly be guzzling down plenty of craft beers, great cocktails and soaking up Liverpool’s notorious nightlife.

It’s not all knees-up and revelry though – The Tank Room is also available for corporate hire and lower-tone events if you’re looking for something casual but quirky.

Enjoy, party people! Have fun, good luck with the hangovers, and stay safe out there.
